Abstract
Summary The introduction of urodynamic investigations has advanced our understanding of the pathophysiology of the female lower urinary tract. The place of urodynamic studies in the routine assessment of patients with urological and gynaecological symptoms has yet to be identified. The purpose of the studies presented here was to assess the impact of the introduction of a routine urodynamic service into a busy clinical practice, with regard to both the accuracy of clinical diagnosis and, as a result, any subsequent changes in the results of clinical management. Keywords
