Abstract
The literature contains widely varying estimates as to the incidence of [human] diabetic hearing loss and to the relationship that such a loss has with other aspects of the disease. Most of the recent histopathological reports are in agreement that the changes due to diabetes are primarily microvascular-a fact that is reflected in the bulk of the more recent theories of the pathogenesis of this problem. Keywords
