Abstract
13 C N.m.r. contacts shifts induced by the addition of the di-t-butyl nitroxide radical have been observed for various aprotic molecules and are shown to be useful as a sensitive probe for detecting the weakly acidic or the active site with respect to the free radical in hydrocarbons and for the study of weak solvent–radical interactions. Keywords
