Abstract
Relations between logarithmic, Poisson and negative binomial series are demonstrated by means of generating functions on the assumption that the number of groups observed on any one occasion is distributed in the Poisson form, so that the probability of observing n groups is P (n groups) = e-mmn/n!.Keywords
