Abstract
The butyronitrile molecule has been confirmed by microwave spectroscopy to exist in two rotational isomers, trans and gauche. Rotational constants in the ground vibrational state are A=23 668.06, B=2268.16, C=2152.95 Mc/sec for the trans form and A=10 060.37, B=3267.63, C=2705.49 Mc/sec for the gauche form. Three sets of vibrational satellites have been found for each form. Keywords
