Evaluation of Recreational Sites

Abstract
A series of five recreational sites were evaluated by five groups of University students. A color slide presentation with three contiguous views, shown simultaneously on three adjacent screens to give a broad “wide-screen” effect, was tested against on-site viewing. There was an interaction of the evaluation of sites when viewing the slides versus viewing the actual sites. In general the students scored the sites higher when viewing the slides than when viewing the sites.
