Abstract
The effects of colchicine applied inside a squid giant axon were studied using voltage‐clamp and internal perfusion techniques. It was found that colchicine selectively and reversibly suppresses the sodium conductance during excitation. The possible involvement of the microtubular structure in the functioning of the excitable channel is discussed. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
