Abstract
A fluid coupling type ultrasonic motor, which employs fluid between the rotor and the stator, is proposed and constructed for trial. This ultrasonic motor does not use frictional force and is free from the difficulties of contact, such as abrasion and surface roughness. Though the precise mechanism of the motor is not clear, the maximum revolution of 50 rpm is marked. Keywords
