Abstract
The g-factor of the 0.8 μs isomeric state at 2 549 keV in 210At has been measured using the 209Bi(α,3n)210At reaction. The pulsed beam of the Stockholm 225 cm cyclotron and the stroboscopic method of measuring g-factors were used. The g-factor of the 0.8 μs isomeric state was found to be 1.03 ± 0.02. This value should be compared with the calculated value 1.06 ± 0.03 which is established from known g-factors and the configuration suggested by Wikström et al. The measured g-factor supports the suggested configuration. Keywords
