Abstract
High−energy neutron sputtering yields ≲10−4 ejected particles/ incident neutron have been measured for Au and Nb specimens irradiated under high−vacuum conditions using a neutron source based on the 9Be(d,n) reaction. These measurements are consistent with theoretical predictions, but much lower than experimental data previously reported by one research group. Keywords
