Television and Voting Turnout

Abstract
On the basis of presidential election surveys Dr. Glaser discusses the influence of television on voting turnout and how this influence differs from the effects of other mass media. He also considers ways in which television could be used more effectively to increase voting turnout. This is a revision of a paper read at the annual AAPOR meeting on May 9, 1964.
