Abstract
Various applications of porous electrodes are described and their usefulness in electro‐oxidations and reductions, both organic and inorganic, is discussed. Three processes are considered in detail : electrowinning of copper, production of p‐nitraniline, and oxidation of arsenite to arsenate with accessory air depolarization at the cathode. Keywords
