Abstract
The rate of absorption of Co from the peritoneal cavity and rate of elimination from the blood when given as cobaltous sulfate or Co-histidine and Co-cysteine complexes were detd. with the aid of radioactive Co. The equation for the amt. of a substance present in the blood at any time after an intraperit. injn. of tracer quantities, provided certain assumptions are fulfilled, was derived. The graphical method of analysis of the data is descr. The half-time for removal from the blood was 5-25 min. and from the peritoneal cavity 45 min. to 4.7 hrs. Keywords
