Abstract
In the yeast, R. toruloides, the mating reaction between 2 haploid cells designated A and a type, is controlled by substances secreted from each mating type cells. A peptide named A factor was produced by the A type cells and induced the mating tube formation in the opposite a type cells. The amino acid sequence of A factor, designated rhodotorucine A, was determined. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
