Abstract
Streptococcus bovis, when grown in a medium containing sucrose, has been shown to produce leucrose, isomaltulose, isomaltose, isomaltotriose, 5-O-a-isomaltosyl-D-fructose and isomaltotriulose. The mechanism of the formation of these oligosaccharides is discussed. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
