Globulins on NZB Mouse Erythrocytes

Abstract
Summary: Using four rabbit antisera specially absorbed and then tested for hemagglutinating activity against various mouse erythrocytes and by immunoelectrophoresis against mouse serum, the major coating of direct Coombs positive NZB mouse erythrocytes has been found to be a classical γ-globulin. It is considered that this confirms the resemblance of the autoimmune hemolytic anemia of NZB mice to the corresponding human disease.
