The electronic properties of graphene
Abstract
This article reviews the basic theoretical properties of graphene, a two-dimensional allotrope of carbon, with unusual electronic properties. The elementary excitations are linearly dispersing Dirac fermions with vanishing electronic density of states, whose properties can be controlled by application of external electric and magnetic fields, or by altering sample geometry and topology. Keywords
