Abstract
Several metallophthalocyanines (MPc: M=Ni(II), Co(II), Zn(II), Pb(II), Fe(II), Sn(II), Cd(II), Mg(II), and Mn(III)) were obtained by heating phthalonitrile with metal salts in alcohols in the presence of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene. Metal acetylacetonates as well as metal halides were available as metal sources for preparation of metallophthalocyanines by this method. Keywords
