Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 42-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of a question of constrictive pericarditis.He was well until four years previously, when an x-ray film of the chest, obtained elsewhere, revealed mediastinal enlargement. No peripheral lymphadenopathy was found on physical examination. Microscopical examination of a biopsy specimen of a mediastinal lymph node showed Hodgkin's disease, nodular-sclerosis type. Examination of biopsy specimens of a cervical lymph node and the liver and the excised spleen revealed no evidence of lymphoma.
