Abstract
A simple theory of electrophoresis has been given, starting from Kohlrausch's regulating function. Stress is laid on the correct method of calculating the mobility from the velocities of rising and descending boundaries. It appears to be possible to calculate the equivalent weight of colloid electrolytes from a Tiselius diagramKeywords
