Abstract
Basing on the experiments described in our first report, the slip abrasion phenomena were examined by using cylinder liner cast iron quenched by high frequency surface hardening. Abrasive pressure and velocity were kept 30kg/cm2 and 1.05m/sec respectively. Abrasion character of specimens quenched by high frequency was independent of the casting method. Further, tempering at 300°C caused better results concerning abrasion resistance.
