Abstract
Supplemental iron as ferrous chloride (FeCl2) at levels of 0, 250, 500, or 1000 ppm, added to an allroughage diet (alfalfa-orchardgrass haylage) containing 167 ppm of iron, had no effect upon the digestion of total dry matter, protein, ash, crude fiber, acid detergent fiber, or neutral detergent fiberby yearling cattle (442 kg).Keywords
