Abstract
New data on resonances in the + system are presented. A systematic pattern is observed suggesting that theoretical models which have recently been formulated for the mechanism of resonances appearing in the + system also apply to this system. Furthermore, energies, spins, and widths for entrance-channel resonances predicted by a recent microscopic calculation of + scattering agree very well with the data presented here.
