Metaphyseal Dysostosis, Jansen Type

Abstract
Histological and roentgenographic findings are described in a child with metaphyseal dysostosis. They disprove the previous diagnoses of rickets and osteogenesis imperfecta. The metaphyseal region revealed disorganized endochondral ossification. The roentgenological findings were splaying and widening of the metaphyseal region with irregular calcification of the involved bones.
