Abstract
Mumps virus was cultivated in the chorio-allantoic fluid of the chick embryo. It was then purified by centrifugation. Sedimentation diagrams, and electron miscroscope pictures showed a wide variation in particle size. The virus was spherical, and flattened electron micrograph images had a diam. of 190[plus or minus] 42 millimicrons. Keywords
