Abstract
Unit values of zinc for erythrocytes (per million cells or per cc.) were within the limits of normal in the anemias other than pernicious anemia. In the latter, unit values for erythrocytes were significantly increased with return to normal after adequate liver therapy, the rate being comparable to the probable elimination rate of the red cell population prior to therapy. Keywords
