Abstract
The high-dispersion absorption spectrum of Ag i has been photographed in the 1540–1850 Å region. Observations include the transitions for n =7 through n =71, the , transitions, and the electric-quadrupole transitions 5s2S1/2–nd2D3/2,5/2 for n = 1 through n = 12. The ionization potential of Ag i determined from the np2P° series is 61106. 56 ± 0. 06 cm−1.
