Abstract
The magneto-optic properties of particle systems are considered, and the effect of a restricted mean free path of conduction electrons on the magneto-optical constants as well as the optical constants is included. Saturation polar Kerr rotations are calculated for a nickel granular layer and compared with available experimental results. Keywords
