Abstract
Molecular motions have been studied in a powder sample of 1-cyanoadamantane, by using pulsed and continuous wave techniques, from 90 K to 480 K. Two very different types of motions are discussed: a fast uniaxial rotation around the three-fold axis of the molecule, and a slow isotropic reorientation of this molecular three-fold axis between the six [100] directions of the cubic lattice. Keywords
