Abstract
A summary of the medical hazards and difficulties through which African children pass during their growth from infancy to adolescence, together with certain suggestions as to general remedial measures to be adopted. Many of these measures require basic education of both the native and the medical personnel as to the value of certain diets and the danger as well as usefulness of certain local customs pertaining to the care of children. Keywords
