Abstract
Recent experimental and theoretical studies indicate that atomic-layer by atomic-layer oscillatory compositional modulation can occur in the near surface layers of alloys in surface segregation. We present here evidence of such an oscillatory feature down to a depth of several atomic layers in surface cosegregation of Pt-Rh(S) alloys. Keywords
