Abstract
A new industrial hazard has developed in the attempt to delead old houses. Although qualified contractors are available, serious problems may result from careless or inexperienced deleading practices. Many unsafe methods are being used that put in jeopardy the occupants of the houses as well as the workers who remove the paint.
