Abstract
A case report of a [female] of 44 who had inoperable carcinoma of the stomach with metastasis to the skin of the umbilicus is made by the authors. This is apparently the 38th report of this kind in the literature. Metastatic carcinoma in the umbilicus may be the first sign of gastric or other intra-abdominal carcinoma and its recognition is important. Metastatic cancer of the umbilicus is not so rare as the paucity of reports in the literature indicates. Keywords
