Abstract
Intercrossing of some Arabis material from Mt Kenys, East Africa, with Arabis alpina L. var. glabrata A.Bl. from Sweden, and analysis of the offspring generations obtained demonstrated that the sterility barrier between those two populations were weak and easily broken down, and that the morphological differences between them showed ± simple segregation. This is taken as evidence that the East African plant is conspecific with the European Arabis alpina L.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
