Abstract
The elastic scattering of electrons with incident energies from 20 to 500 eV from the metastable state of atomic hydrogen is calculated by using the Born and Glauber approximations (including the exchange effect). The results for the angular distributions are compared with some other theoretical calculations. It is found that the Born and Glauber integrated elastic-scattering cross section is well represented by for eV.
