Abstract
Since the chro-matophore activator produced in the eye stalks of crustaceans has properties resembling those of pituitary extract, studies of the action of this substance on ovary, testis and sexual cycle of a mammal were undertaken; injections into [male] and [female] rats had no effect on weight of, or gross or histological appearance of gonads. Keywords
