Abstract
The structure and melting behaviour of small binary mixed clusters composed of particles interacting through pairwise additive 12–6 Lennard-Jones interactions is investigated by means of canonical Monte Carlo simulations using the Metropolis algorithm. The low temperature structure and melting behaviour for different values of the particle sizes and interaction energies of the two species of particle have been studied for A12B clusters. Keywords
