Abstract
Kinetic measurements on the Diels–Alder reaction between p-benzoquinone and cyclopenta-1,3-diene have been carried out in carbon dioxide as a medium between 25 and 40 °C; the reaction effectively occurs throughout liquid and supercritical ranges with no discontinuity and rates are about 20% greater than those in diethyl ether. Keywords
