Abstract
Modification of a lipid extraction method was used to demonstrate the ability of calcium to stabilize salivary proteins in an aqueous solution. Gel electrophoretic patterns showed that slowly migrating components were most affected. Several biologically active factors are implicated to be among those stabilized. This publication has 26 references indexed in Scilit:
