Abstract
Granulosa cell tumors and luteoma can be readily induced in mice by a single exposure to 87r. Most of the induced tumors are readily transplantable. Histologic changes indicate that some granulosa cell tumors secrete estrogens. There is a cavernous dilatation of the sinusoids of liver, spleen, and adrenals in mice bearing grafts of several such transplantable strains. Grafted luteomata cause profound atrophy of the adrenal cortex. Keywords
