Abstract
Extensive evaluation of the electrical and thermal capabilities of insulation systems has been done throughout the industry. Although virtually all large rotating machine insulation system failures are due to mechanical duty, until recent years, only a modest amount of mechanical testing has been done on insulation systems. Keywords
