Abstract
Critical pulse measurements performed on experimental bistable ferroelectric liquid crystal matrices are reported. Their temperature dependence is discussed. Two selected driving schemes were evaluated on the same cells under real multiplexing conditions. Generation of grey shades in FLC cells is discussed. Problems concerning the analogue greyscale techniques are pointed out and some possible future solutions are considered. Keywords
