Abstract
Soloway, Henry B., Belliveau, Robert R., Grayson, John W., Jr., and Butler, Thorne J.: The in vitro effect of heparin on the activated partial thromboplastin time. Am. J. Clin. Pathol. 58: 405–407, 1972. The in vitro effect of heparin on the activated partial thromboplastin time was studied using plasma from normal subjects. It was found that there is a log-dose response to heparin which is quite variable from subject to subject. A single subject was studied on five occasions in a 2-month interval; all of this subject’s response patterns to heparin were similar. Keywords
