Abstract
The primary etiological factor in tennis elbow is a mechanical predisposition of the human elbow associated with force overload Additional etiological factors in clude lack of forearm strength and endur ance, age, and a tendency toward mus culo-tendinous inflammatory abnormali ties Treatment includes relief of inflamma tion, improvement of tissue quality by exercise, decrease in the moments of force to which the forearm is subjected, and surgery when indicatedKeywords
