Evaluation of the Kinetic Parameters of the Sodium Insertion in Sodium Molybdates by Impedance Spectroscopy

Abstract
The kinetics of the insertion of Na into the layered NaxMo2O4 system upon charge and discharge has been studied by means of ac-complex impedance spectroscopy. The Na diffusion coefficient values deduced correlate well with the structural modifications occurring in these monoclinic molybdates upon Na intercalation, namely, change from trigonal prismatic coordination for low sodium content to octahedral for higher content
