Abstract
The enzyme which liberated molecular H from formic acid differs from either dehydrogenase or hydrogenase; the name "formic hydro-genlyase" is proposed for it. With Bacterium coli, it is an adaptive enzyme, since it is not formed in absence of formate; it differs from the hydrogenlyases which liberate H from sugars. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
