Abstract
Myocutaneous flap cover of postirradiation ulcers has recently been recognized as a useful and effective method of treating these non-healing ulcers. This study presents the results of three cases of postirradiation sacral ulcers treated by gluteus maximus myocutaneous flaps. In one case a conventional island flap was used, whereas in the other two cases a new technique of a total rotation gluteus maximus myocutaneous flap is described. Keywords
