Abstract
This paper describes experiments and phenomenological considerations about nonlinear dielectric responses of copolymers of vinylidene fluoride and trifluoroethylene. Nonlinear dielectric response of ferroelectric materials to an applied electric field above the coercive electric field Ec yields information about polarization reversal phenomena and the response to the field below Ec enables us to determine the thermodynamical order of a ferroelectric phase transition. Keywords
