Abstract
Exact analytical expressions are obtained for the elementary first‐order (ΔV) interaction force between a dislocation loop and flux line lattice in a type‐II superconductor, using the stress field of the flux line lattice. The interaction force initially increases as the square of loop radius R, but as R is increased further it has the periodicity of a Bessel function of first order, i.e., J1.Keywords
