Abstract
There are repeatable patterns from year to year in sex composition, the frequency of the sex-ratio (SR) trait and the relative abundance of D. pseudoobscura in southern California [USA]. The temperature pattern is also repeatable from year to year. Although sex composition cannot influence the frequency of SR, the frequency of SR can influence the sex composition and the growth rate of the population. These effects of SR may be shown by the data from a natural population. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
